The household at Victoria House and the Barn Annexe are extended family units including accommodation for staff, staff children and residents. This creates a living situation based on mutual support and sharing.

Victoria House complex creates an atmosphere where life sharing is a part of the ethos. The residents benefit tremendously from the feeling of security and stability that is created by this living arrangement.

Living together in this way creates a home life where a lot of social learning takes place. Everyone is expected to do their share in the running of the household.
