“We need you for Coleg Elidyr!!!

In Germany I had to make the decision, army or civil service. Because I really wanted to leave this country I decided to do my civil service in South Wales. The army also has offers to go to a foreign country, but to be honest; I didn’t really want to be moveable target in Iraq or Afghanistan!
So I came to this place called Coleg Elidyr in Rhandirmwyn. If you listen to the habitants pronouncing the name of their village your only question is:”Randy what?”
However my first impressions have been magnificent. It is a beautiful nature around here, really nice people and the work with the students is on the one hand exhausting but on the other hand you learn a lot of them. The more you get to know them; the more your love for them is growing. Not only the fact that the students are the majority of Britain, they teach you English best. It is about the new experiences you have in Coleg and the love they give to you.
If you are open  for people with special needs and you like community life, if you don’t care about rainy days and are a friend of nature, Coleg will probably be the place for you.
